The Alliance for Board Effectiveness welcomes Caryn Ryan, Founder and Managing Member of Missionwell LLC as a new member. Caryn is a long-time director of various nonprofit and faith-based boards including Union Rescue Mission, AdelFi Credit Union, La Canada Presbyterian Church and Oasis USA. She has supported many boards with board-involved identity and strategic frameworks, board orientations, board recruitment, board operations, policies, governance matters such as bylaw preparation, board self-assessments, CEO-board relations, board financial literacy and more. She teaches on various governance topics at conferences, board meetings and offers webinars on various topics.

Caryn consults through Missionwell LLC, which provides a virtual business office for nonprofits and faith-based organizations, spanning Accounting & Financial Services, Human Resource Services and Corporate Support Services, which includes board support and strategic planning.
